Although the public's general perception of homosexual couples have become increasingly positive, in a recent study by the Hong Kong Baptist University 52.29% of respondents endorsed homosexuality and 50.72% agreed with discrimination protection of the community, there are still biases and prejudice in the Hong Kong society with only 32.79% of respondents being favourable of same-sex marriage and 40% accepting homosexual relatives. It is clear that much work is to be made to ensure equality in our society
